Yasmine Boto (she/her)
Wilf Public Interest Fellow

Yasmine is a Wilf Public Interest Fellow working with VLJ’s ReLeSe Program, Tenancy Program, and Veterans Legal Program. Yasmine earned her bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University and her Juris Doctor from New York Law School.

During her undergraduate studies, Yasmine interned for several public interest organizations, including CASA of Union County and the ACLU of New Jersey. Prior to attending law school, Yasmine volunteered with the International Rescue Committee and worked closely with their immigration unit.

During law school, Yasmine co-founded New York Law School’s chapter of If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice where she served as the Founding Secretary and later as the organization’s Co-President. Yasmine also served as a Junior Editor on New York Law School’s Family Law Journal. After graduating from NYLS, she joined VLJ as a Wilf Public Interest Fellow.
